Queen Elizabeth Names her 2 New Corgis After Her Late Uncle and Her Favorite Place

Queen Elizabeth Loves her Corgis! The latest two additions to the Royal family have their names. The Queen, 94, named these pups Fergus and Muick.

Fergus, a dorgi (a cross with a dachshund), is named after her late uncle Fergus Bowes-Lyon, who died during WWI in 1915, according to the Sun. While one of the puppies is named after HRH’s uncle, the other puppy was named after Loch Muick on the Balmoral estate in Scotland.

The Sun reported the new of the pets earlier this month, and it came as the Queen’s husband Prince Philip was recovering from his heart operation at St. Bartholomew’s hospital in London.
